DIMAPUR, DECEMEBR 5 (MExN): ATMA Dimapur Niuland Block at Ghotovi village conducted training under Mobilization of Farmers Group on December 4 on the topic ‘Rodent Pest Mangement.’ Aripong, Agri Officer, (Niuland SDAO) was the resource person. He said that Rodent infestations can cause considerable damage to infested buildings and local agriculture and chemical control of rodent infestation is most common for the use of poisoned baits. Further, Oil Palm Farm School was also set up with Vitozhe Sema, a progressive farmer whose farm is spread over 8 hectares as the farm teacher. He received saplings from Niuland SDAO in 2016 comprising of 600 trees presently. Demalu Hasnusa, BTM, Niuland Block denoted the functions of a farm school.
