Tuensang, January 5 (MExN): The North East Initiative Development Agency (NEIDA) with funding support from the British Council in partnership with DIAGEO organized a cascade of workshops on Young Women’s Social Enterprise Development Programme (YWSEDP) where 100 women participated from various villages of Tuensang district of Nagaland. The training has created a platform for women to develop into entrepreneurs. The training basically focused on making the women self-reliant and empowered them with economic independence. The training was conducted in four batches. The trainees consisted of women between the ages of 18 to 40 years, these women came from all walks of life, and they were students, fresh graduates, high school dropouts, housewives and widows. The Resource persons for the training Programme were Toshisangla Chang and Pangchangkhumla Chang of Eleutheros Christian Society (ECS), Tuensang.
