Kohima, March 3 (MExN): “Unauthorised transfer of government-acquired land is illegal and liable to penal action under the relevant section of the law," stated a public notice issued by Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant.
It further cautioned that private party or parties selling and buying land falling under Government Acquired Land in Lerie and New Kohima College area are doing so at their own risk. Therefore, the public is advised to report any such dubious land transaction promptly to authority at revenue.dc.kohima@gmail.com, it added.
