
Kohima, January 28 (MExN): More than fifteen thousand people young and old thronged the Kohima local ground to hear the gospel on the last day of the Transformation Crusade on January 26, according to a press release. Speaker of the evening, Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, Pastor Koinonia Baptist Church shared on “God is our Abba Father and we are His children (Joshua 24:15).”
Challenging the congregation whether they were aware of themselves as sons and daughters of God, he said “first we need the Holy Spirit to understand the word of God as it is applicable down every generation.” He added Jesus opened the way on the cross for us to become the children of God.
“Our earthly fathers are not perfect, but God is perfect and when we believe in Christ, we should not have an orphan heart. Joseph prospered in everything he did because God was with him,” he added. After the sermon, many people having suicidal tendency were delivered when the speakers had special prayer for them, stated the press release.
Earlier, Hovikrol Neikha, Asst Pastor NCRC, PR Hill led the concluding service while, Pastor Rukuowhelie, upper Nagabazar BC said the offertory prayer. The Koinonia BC Praise team led the praise and worship.
