Kohima, January 18 (MExN): On the fourth day of the Transformation Crusade here, Rev. Shan Kikon revealed that the Holy Spirit says “there is a big calling upon Kohima” and it would be a city of refuge where people staying outside Kohima would come to know more about Jesus. Stressing on “God’s love,” a press release said, Rev Shan said many of us live in fear and doubt because we have not known the love of God and His blood was shed for our sins and in Him we have redemption ( Matthew 9:35-36, Isaiah 53:4, Hebrews 1:3 and Galatians 3:13).
Rev. Shan explained that when we have known the love of god, faith and deliverance then freedom comes. Love brings true repentance and added Jesus represented God on earth, when he came into this world he showed love. He was a friend of sinners and he delivered them. Christianity is a relationship, not a tradition or an organization, he enunciated. It is light against darkness and added “our God is a God of Love and said Sickness is not from God.”
Calling upon the people to come in faith, he reminded, people who came with faith to Jesus were healed and said healing can be received by faith through Jesus and is an expression of God’s love. Rev. Shan further urged the people to seek Jesus first as he is the perfect theologian and answer to every problem. The ongoing crusade is not to condemn or to judge one another but to save and show God’s love to the people through healing, deliverance, restoring relationships, etc. which is the purpose of God coming to the world, Rev Shan explained.
Earlier, Neibalie Kiewhuo, Asst. Pastor, Koinonia Baptist Church led the evening service while New Covenant Church led the praise and worship.
Later, Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo and Rev Shan Kikon led the healing service. A woman who could not open her eyes for a year was able to open and see and around five non-Christians were healed and later accepted Christ as their personal savior, according to the release. Thousands of people also responded to the altar call, it added.
