DIMAPUR, JUNE 10 (MExN): Aspiring candidates to the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC), called the “Transparency Seekers Group” have filed an RTI to NPSC for the model answer paper (correct answers to question of Prelims) of 2007. The Transparency Seekers Group was said to have been formed right after the results of the NPSC Prelims of 2007, “to redress the grievances of the people as well as to bring transparency in the system.

The release jointly issued by the President and General Secretary of the group, Vihepu and Temjen stated that the demand for the model answer paper had been forwarded to the Commission after many discussions inorder to know where the students went wrong, but the NPSC had refused the demand. The release also stated that the group had approached the NSF who, along with some tribal unit presidents had met with the Chairman of NPSC but without any conclusive results.

While stating that it reconfirmed their stand and commitment toward their demand, the group appealed to NPSC aspirants to consult their group before going for press release to avoid misinformation and misunderstanding in the matter.

Welcoming collaboration and support from right thinking citizens, the group informed aspiring candidates interested in the issue to contact the President and General Secretary at 9856189272 and 9436211677 respectively, for further course of action.
