DIMAPUR, MAY 22 (MExN): Four persons, claiming to be from one of the Naga Political Groups, allegedly raided a Godown belonging to Azhiete Transport at Hill View Colony, Dimapur on May 22 and stole goods worth Rs 37,00,438. According to the owner of Azhiete Transport, the miscreants came to the godown at around 7:30 pm in two vehicles, one silver colored Alto, bearing registration number NL-07 1522 and one silver color Maruti 800-without any registration number. It was informed that the manager of the godown was locked in a room by the miscreants, who proceeded to loot the goods, which were reportedly meant for CSD, Dimapur. It was further informed that the miscreants took the manager and the goods along with them towards Purana Bazaar. On reaching Purana Bazaar, the manager was blind folded and dropped at the super market area in a black Alto bearing registration No NL-07/1628, it was stated. “Whoever has taken the goods are requested to return the goods to the concerned Transport or to West Police Station,” appealed the owner of Azhiete Transport, in a press note.
