Wokha, October 14 (MExN): The National Highway-2 Wokha-Mokokchung road will remain closed from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on October 16 to clear mud and rock debris accumulated due to a mudslide at Wokha Village (location 80+300Km to 80+400Km). According to the state DIPR on Friday, Sub-Divisional Officer (C) Wokha, Tsidi informed that the mudslide was caused by incessant rain in the district, and advised all medium and light vehicle travellers along the Mokokchung-Wokha-Kohima route to use a diversion route via Alichen-Mangmetong-Doyang Reservoir-Wokha ‘O’ Point during the said closure period.
