Tsiituonuomia Students’ Union (TSU), Kohima village on Tuesday formally launched the yearlong silver jubilee celebration of its Night Tuition Centre under the theme “Treading the right path of better education” at T. Khel indoor stadium, Kohima Village.
Organizing Committee convenor Kevisevolie Solo said the TSU along with various committees have decided carry forward various activities to mark the year-long celebration of the Night Tuition Centre which will culminate in December this year.
In this, he sought unflinching support and cooperation of everyone for a meaningful and fruitful celebration. Addressing the launching ceremony, T.Khel Gazetted Officers’ Association treasurer Neituolie Phewhuo lauded the effort of the pioneers of Night Tuition Centre in enriching the caliber of the students over the last 25 years.
He called upon the students to stay away from the influence of bad habits and the love of money that destroy ones’ life and society.
T.Khel council chairman Thepfuvilie Suohu, GMS T.Khel head teacher Dzieseneituo Belho, GMS T.Khel SMC Zhakuo Whuorie and Keviyie Belho also addressed the gathering.
T.Khel frontal organizations presidents released TSU Night Tuition Centre silver jubilee action plans for 8 months.
The programme was chaired by organizing committee member Kevisenyii Zatsu while the activities of Night Tuition Centre were briefed by TSU social & cultural secy and incharge NTC Neizovolie Solo. Vote of thanks was proposed by TSU president Vikuonyii Solo.
