Kohima, August 31 (MExN): The Department of Treasuries and Accounts, Nagaland bid farewell to their Director, Daso Paphino and Assistant Director, Neivicha Angami on August 31 at the DTA Conference hall, Kohima.
On behalf of the Department, Principal Director, K. Tiayanger Tzudir said that the personal efforts put by these two officers have helped the improvement of the Department and their contribution will always be remembered.
In his farewell speech, retiring Director Daso Paphino said that the generosity and the kindness of the people of the State had inspired him to his best at his work. He told his colleagues to never miss an opportunity to travel and meet the people in their district offices. This is where they should draw their strength and aspirations to do better. He further added that it is important to play their role responsibly and with great care and commitment however small their role may be in the Department. He also said that one cannot work in isolation, and if there was anything that one wanted to achieve it could only be done by working together as a team. He encouraged and reminded all the staff to be sincere in their duties to avail the best opportunities and give their best service to the people and be blessed. The programme was chaired by the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, R.N Yanthan and word of acknowledgement was given by Jt. Director, Khevito Sema.
