A Treat For Movie Lovers

Creovaent Productions - a production house based in Guwahati, Assam is bringing in SHAMIANA – popular short film club from Mumbai to Dimapur, Nagaland. SHAMIANA’s screening has already started in Guwahati, Assam. The Dimapur launch will happen at HIYO Café on August 12, 2011, Friday at 6:00 pm. Movie lovers are invited to come and be a part of the launch and the screening of short films.

Short Film Club opening in DimapurCreovaent Productions will be screening short films from all over the world with contents from India and also keeping contents from filmmakers of North-East India. The filmmakers and film lovers from Nagaland can now get a platform where they can come together to get exposure to award winning short films from all over the world. Even filmmakers from Nagaland can submit their short films to the club and the club management will review the same. The screening for the club will be done once every month at HIYO Café, Dimapur.
SPIRIT UNDERGROUND is supporting the initiative for promoting short films. The major highlight of the August 12 launch will be the screening of short film ‘Blood Brothers’ by Award Winning popular Bollywood Director Vishal Bhardwaj. Apart from this film,  award winning short films from Netherlands, Australia will also be showcased.
