
Dimapur, July 13 (MExN): TRGU Vocational Training Centre, Dimapur organised its graduation cum parents meet on July 12 with good number of attendance from parents of the trainees, a press release informed.
Rarenbenla Longkumer, Functional Manager, District Industries Centre, Dimapur was the guest of honor for the graduation function. She spoke about the need to realize and build the inherent potential in each of the trainees to be good professional. She further emphasized on the qualities of trainees, which include discipline and practical involvement and how these qualities and being creative, innovative and hard working can generate demand. While appreciating the TGRU Centre for giving such quality training to the youths, she also spoke on the present scenario of employment and urged the trainees to take the training seriously and to stand on their own feet.
Tainla Jamir, Proprietor, TRGU Vocational Training Centre (TVTC) congratulated the successful candidates and highlighted the courses offered in the training centre – cutting and tailoring, fashion designing of industrial sewing machine operator, hobby course, and food processing to poorer women. The trainings are mostly for widows, drop-outs, housewives, and unemployed youth to provide basic skills and empower them to earn their livelihood through self employment.
The function started with an invocation prayer by Knowledge Hub women hostel in charge.
