A three day long annual sports meet 2022 of Trinity School Kohima got underway today at Police New Reserve Ground, Phesama.

Speaking on the occasion as the special guest, Bokato Hesso, deputy registrar of Cooperative Societies, Nagaland, encouraged the students to engage in the sports activities to stay healthy and active in life.

“Take sports as hobby,” he said and at the same time, urged upon the students to hone their skills.

Hesso also called upon the students to stay sincere and work hard to become responsible citizens.

Also gracing the meet as the guest of honour, Mathew Yhome, president Kohima District Football Association challenged the students to take discipline as the most important ingredient to succeed in life.

Discipline is the most important thing in our life, he said.

He also called upon the students to give their best in study and also asked them to know their talent and carry it forward for excellence.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Susan while Kevin Solo, administrator Trinity School Kohima shared greetings.
Prashant Kumar, School Prefect delivered prefect address.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Vimedeno. The meet will continue till March 25.
