NOKLAK, JUNE 1 (MExN): The Thang Range Public Organization (TRPO) has condemned the physical assault perpetrated against two construction workers identified as Majmul Laskar and Hasmul Hague at Noklak town on May 28 by miscreants, of which one succumbed to his injuries. A condemnation note issued by the TRPO media cell said Hasmul Hague succumbed to his injuries at District Hospital Noklak. The five accused has been identified has Bumo Khiam (48), Shing (20), Khumong (42), Lungoi (25) and Bilalahmed (27), the press release informed. While condemning the barbaric and heinous act, the organization said the incident has greatly disturbed the peace and tranquility of the town and created a sense of fear psychosis in the minds of the citizen. In this connection, the organization apprised the law enforcing agencies to thoroughly investigate and award befitting punishment to the culprits at the earliest so as to deliver justice to the victims and the bereaved families.
