Imphal, September 29 (NNN): Three loaded trucks heading towards Dimapur side have been burnt down by Sadar Hills District Demand Committee volunteers this evening at Kangpokpi along NH-39. Kangpokpi is located some 40 km north of Imphal. According to the police, the trucks carrying plywood originated from Imphal without escort. The incident occurred at around 7 pm near Thomas Ground. The registration numbers of the ill fated trucks were AS-09C-1631, AS-01DC-2745 and AS-03B-1929.
