The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Tseminyu, was felicitated for receiving the “Best Performing District Child Protection Unit Award 2025” by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Mission Vatsalya, Nagaland.
TSEMINYU, DECEMBER 11 (MExN): The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Tseminyu, was felicitated for receiving the “Best Performing District Child Protection Unit Award 2025” by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Mission Vatsalya, Nagaland, during the Tseminyu District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting-cum-Advent Christmas programme held here on Thursday.
Ar Jwenga Seb, MLA and Chairman of the DPDB, and Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of DCPU, Japheth Woch, commended the DCPU team for its achievement. Seb lauded the unit for bringing recognition and honour to the district, noting its dedication and commitment to child welfare initiatives.
The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the growing impact of the DCPU in addressing child protection and welfare issues, stating that its work sets an example for the district and the state.
The award was conferred by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Mission Vatsalya, during its Annual Meet and Pre-Christmas Celebration held on December 5 at Highland Park, Kohima.
