Tseminyu, January 22 (MExN): The issue of water scarcity in the district was one of the main topics of discussion during the monthly meeting of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Tseminyu on January 21.
To address this, the Board deliberated on the construction of check dams at various locations in the district.
As per the State DIPR, during the meeting, MLA & Chairman of DPDB Tseminyu, Jwenga Seb, welcomed the board members and newly posted officials, including Mhathung Ngullie, EAC, Celina Thal, BDO, and Christopher Chale, STO.
The meeting also reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting, where the board discussed the proposal for the acquisition of 500 acres of land for the establishment of government departments under Tseminyu District and set up a committee headed by the DC, EAC, and Rengma Hoho President.
The KVK and Social Welfare departments presented their various departmental activities and achievements initiated in the district. The meeting was presided over by DC & Vice-Chairman of DPDB, Tseminyu, Rohit Singh.
The Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Services will present their departmental activities at the next DPDB meeting.
