
TSEMINYU, FEBRUARY 14 (MExN): The monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for Tseminyu district was held on February 13 at the DC’s Conference Hall, chaired by MLA & DPDB Chairman Ar. Jwenga Seb. The meeting began with a review of the minutes from the previous meeting, during which the board discussed staffing requisitions for various departments. These included requests for two Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) positions at the district Sericulture Office, one MTS caretaker for the Aghonshu Tourism Camp under the Department of Tourism, and additional staff at the DC’s office, as reported by the DIPR.
The Power Department then presented its recent activities through a PowerPoint presentation. The chairman encouraged the department to prepare a proposal aimed at upgrading its operations within the district.
Similarly, the Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Services presented an update on their activities. Ar. Jwenga Seb urged the department to better assess ground realities and ensure that resources are allocated based on the population of each village.
Addressing concerns, the chairman clarified that Rengma Pani is officially part of Tseminyu District, with no disputes reported on the matter. He encouraged officers to come forward with any clarifications or issues without hesitation. The next DPDB meeting will feature a presentation on departmental activities from the Department of Soil and Rural Development.
