Tseminyu, March 12 (DIPR): President of Rengma Hoho, Keny Tep on behalf of Rengma public presented an agenda for creation of Tseminyu district during the monthly Tseminyu Sub-Division & Planning Development Board meeting held on March 11 at ADC’s conference hall. The Board members shared their views and observations in favour of the agenda and the house agreed to recommend the matter to the higher authority for consideration.
ADC Tseminyu & Vice Chairperson SDPDB, Vikhweno Meratsu welcomed new member Sub Divisional Horticulture Officer, Ayieno Hibo. She apprised the Board members of the importance of SDPDB meetings and urged all the officers representing different departments not to miss the meeting.
Other agenda discussed in the meeting included construction of GMS Tseminyu (Upper) under LADF. In this regard, the ADC commented that the school is being maintained extremely well and as such the demand is genuine. Accordingly, the house agreed and decided to endorse the same to the concerned area Parliamentary Secretary. Ongoing project of GHS building construction at Tseminyu, which is under RMS, was discussed at length. The house decided to write the matter to Education Department for necessary action.
Meanwhile, the meeting also deliberated on the proposal of bankers to open a bank (Axis Bank) at Chunglikha block. The members discussed the feasibility and advantages of opening the bank in the block.
