DIMAPUR, APRIL 10 (MExN): The Tseminyu Union has denounced the burglary and ransacking of Tseminyu Town Baptist Church on the night of March 25. A press release from the union said that it is appalled by such “impudent act of desecrating a sacred place like a church and emphatically opined that the culprit does not deserve a place in a society.” It issued a notice to “ostracize" one Zaleto Swuro within the jurisdiction of Tseminyu. “Hereupon, any individual found harbouring the culprit within Tseminyu shall invite a stringent punishment as per the customary laws of Tseminyu. Furthermore, the Tseminyu Union expressed its appreciation to Tseminyu District Police for prompt action in arresting the culprit and demanded a deserving punishment for the culprit as per the laws,” the union stated.
