Tseminyu Union organizes thanksgiving service for Khing

A thanksgiving service for R Khing, Advisor for Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and Women Resources, Nagaland took place here today at Tseminyu village local ground.  

Khing in his speech expressed gratitude to the electorate of 12th Tseminyu Assembly Constituency for electing him to represent them at the 13th House of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.  

Khing assured to do his best to fulfill his promises and commitment made to the people during the elections. He also sought unflinching support and cooperation from public for all round development of the constituency.  

Johny G. Rengma, Director, National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India and also National BJP executive member said that Rengma community has confidence on the leadership of R Khing and expressed optimism that the latter will take the people forward.  

Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) central vice president, Menuovilie Kesiezie thanked the electorate of 12th Tseminyu A/C for electing R Khing and enabling him to play an important role in the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) government under the chief ministership of Neiphiu Rio.  

Talking on NDPP’s slogan “Change is Coming,” Kesiezie said that change does not mean the government working system alone but a change for better in the public affairs.  

NDPP Central general secretary Benjamin Lorin, NDPP Tseminyu Region president K Thong and Thapimo Semy also spoke at the service.  

Organized by Tseminyu Union, the event was chaired by Y Kent, general secretary Tseminyu Union, while welcome address was delivered by Jwenga Kent, chairman Tseminyu Union. Vote of thanks was proposed by Hillo Khing, vice president Tseminyu Union.  

Er. Zale Neikha, Advisor, Youth Resources and Sports Nagaland, NDPP central youth wing president Kelhouneizo Yhome and several other dignitaries were also present at the service.
