Tuensang, September 15 (DIPR): The Tuensang District Planning and Development Board meeting was held at DC conference Hall Tuensang on September 15 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Alem Jongshi. Gold medalist of the 29th All Nagaland Tea Kwondo Competition Nasen Hochula and Sometnaro were felicitated by the District Administration Tuensang.
The agenda on shortage of manpower, doctors and nurses of the district hospital Tuensang was thoroughly discussed as per complains from certain quarters. The CMO and Medical Superintendent were asked to report the detailed staffing records to the forum for further pursuance. If necessary the forum decided to take up the issue concerning the shortfall of staffs and the nonfunctional machineries and equipments to the Department concerned in the State. President Chang Khulie Setchang (Chang Tribal hoho) also requested the Medical department to come up with the names and the technicians posted at Tuensang District Hospitals and health centers and attached to the other district and other institution to cross check and maintain the sanctioned post in the district health institutions.
Discussion on missed staffing pattern in School Education Department was also discussed concerning deployment of the teachers. The Chairman advised all the employees not to be choosy in the postings and that staffing pattern should be balanced both in urban and rural areas.
The meeting decided to forward two names of the society for renewal namely; Khumuk Multipurpose Society Tuensang and Khiamniungan Baptist Church Association.
