The Tsiesema Village Multipurpose-Cum-Badminton Hall was inaugurated today at Tsiesema Local Ground under Kohima district.

Constructed under Local Area Development Programme (LADP) 2023-24 as iconic project, it was formally inaugurated by Vibeilietuo Kets, Special Assistant to Chief Minister of Nagaland.

Addressing the gathering, Kets asserted that Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has a big vision to uplift and transform the living standard of the rural populace in the state.

Kets thanked Rio for creating numerous assets through LADP within Northern Angami-11 Assembly Constituency, wherein he represents the constituency to the 60 house of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

Apart from holding indoor games, Kets said that this hall will also facilitate social gatherings, workshop, seminars and also serve as an important centre for fostering unity and peace among the community.

He called upon the public to take care of the assets being created by the government and gain maximum benefit from it.
Kets also urged upon the villagers to uphold peace and unity for all round development.

Further, he challenged the youth to embrace positive thinking and strive for positive competition.

Kechalhoubei Talie informed that the project, which includes power connection and toilet facility, was constructed at the cost of Rs 57.20 lakh.   

He thanked Chief Minister and NDPP party for making this multipurpose hall possible at Tsiesema.

Talie also acknowledged Tsiesema Village Council for their support towards the successful completion of the project.

Tsiesema Village Council chairman Khrielezo Khro also acknowledged Kechalhoubei Talie and Theyiekielie Tachii for connecting LADP iconic project to Tsiesema village.

The programme was chaired by Mhalelhou Mere while Keneingulie Mere, Pastor, Tsiesema Baptist Church invoked God’s blessings. Zapuvi Mere, GB delivered welcome address while CYE, CRC Tsiesema performed special song.
