Tsütuonuomia Khel Day was observed today at Mission Compound, Kohima with Thepfuvilie Suohu, Chairman, T Khel Council, Kohima village as special host.

Speaking on the occasion, Suohu informed that the council had undertaken many activities in terms of welfare and infrastructural works during its tenure.

Stating that many more works need to be done, he sought unflinching support and helping hand from each and every individual for the welfare and advancement of the community.

He also called upon the people to abide by the rules framed by the authority in the larger interest of the community.

Kohima Village Council Chairman, Helievi-o Solo; T Khel Students’ Union President, Vituotsolie Solo and T Khel Council Advisor, Vikuolie T Zatsu also spoke on the occasion.

T Khel Council Vice Chairman, K Neibou Sekhose highlighted various activities during its tenure. 

Methaneilie Jiitakhrie Solo among other artists presented special songs and dances.

Nomination Committee Chairman, Viu Belho announced the new team of T Khel Council for the tenure 2021-2024.

The new team will now be headed by K Neibou Sekhose as Chairman.

Sekhose assured that the new team would strive to usher unity and progress of Tsütuonuomia on all fronts based on the principle of ‘United We Stand.’

Earlier, the programme was chaired by T Khel Council General Secretary, Er Kelhousinyii Solo while vote of thanks was proposed by T Khel Council secretary (Adm), Vikietuo Belho.
