Tseminyu, July 21 (MExN): The Tseminyu Students Union (TSU) has informed that it has resolved its ‘misunderstanding’ with the Assam Rifles following a joint meeting with the Post Commander of 28 Assam Rifles ‘F’ Company, along with Tseminyu Union Chairman and Tseminyu Village Council and Tseminyu Student Union on July 19.
“After due deliberation from both sides, the house concluded that there is no misunderstanding between the TSU and Assam Rifles,” a press release from the TSU stated.
While acknowledging that the press release by the 28 AR on July 17 was not to hurt the religious sentiments of the village, the TSU asked the AR to be "cautious and informed" of the traditional customs and religious practices of the people before making declarations to the media.
