Kohima, April 25 (MExN): In commemoration of its 75 years celebration, the Tsütuonuomia Students' Union (TSU) is organizing a Tree plantation Drive on April 27 in and along the stretch of Seithogei with the starting point at Tsütuo Kharu. The plantation drive is initiated in collaboration with the Kohima Forest Division.
The plantation drive is planned with the intention to spread more awareness on environmental issues which is becoming a grave concern in recent times, to stabilize and protect our lands from further possible degradations and to beautify the treasured areas with a greener and favourable looks. The officials and staffs of Kohima Forest Division, students of GPS Lerümedi, TSU Night School students/ Teachers, GBs, Terhüba Presidents/Representatives and all the Executives of Tsütuonuomia Khel apex bodies are expected to take part in this Plantation Drive.
The Union also sincerely requested the voluntary participation of all T. Khel members and well-wishers. The Plantation Drive will commence at 9:00 AM with a short launching program at the site of Tsütuo Kharu.
