TSUD demands release of CSS teacher’s salaries

DIMAPUR, MARCH 5 (MExN): The Tenyimi students’ Union Dimapur today came out in support of the Nagaland RMSA, SSA and CSS Hindi Teachers’ demands for early release of their pending salary. 

“We are appalled to learn that the aggrieved RMSA, SSA and Hindi teachers have been denied their salary for more than 9 months. The teachers’ phase wise agitated is justified and deserve utmost importance,” said a press note by TSUD president Azo Wetsah and General Secretary A. Shyerhunlo Lorin. It urged the concerned department and concerned Minister to take the issue with utmost seriousness and ensure the future of the students’, which lies in the hands of teachers. “It may be noted that students community are worst effected when the teachers couldn’t attend the classes regularly due to non release of their salary. We hope that the concerned authority acts for interest of both the students and the teachers’ community,” it added.
