Wokha, June 2 (MExN): Tsungiki village council hall was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton in the presence of elders and leaders of the village and Chukitong range on June 2. As per a press note, Dy CM said, “times are changing and village councils can play proactive role in formulating plans and projects for the village, in which the government can give assistance.
The council should work hand in hand with the village development board for betterment of education, agriculture and communitization of water supplies and electricity.” Janthungo Kikon, Chairman TVC gave the opening remarks, invocation was said by Santhungo Ngullie, Home Evangelise and dedicatory prayer by T Mhao Kikon, Pastor Tsungiki Baptist Church. Ezanthung Shitiri, Project Assistant and IE Coordinator DMA, Wokha proposed vote of thanks.
