First general session of Tsurongto Area GBs’ Union comprising of Anatongre, Nutsu, Maihpok, and Sukiur ‘A’ and ‘B’ villages held on January 22.
Dimapur, January 22 (MExN): The first general session of the Tsurongto Area GBs’ Union comprising of Anatongre, Nutsu, Maihpok, and Sukiur ‘A’ and ‘B’ villages was held on January 22 hosted by Maihpok village GBs with P Timong, Interim Chairman of Tikhir Tribal Council as special guest.
The programme was chaired by Akhuhba GB, Secretary, TAGBU, and welcome address was delivered by K Kiusthong GB, President, TAGBU, stated a press release received here.
The special guest appreciated the area GBs for their positive response in forming the common area GBs platform “in which we foresee the future prospects of our area while incorporating with the rest.”
Short speeches were delivered by S Yansumong, HD GB Anatongre village, Tsintsumong, HD GB Sukiur ‘A’ village, Y Sumongthong, Hd GB, Maihpok village and Vote of thanks was delivered by Y Yanrumong 2nd GB Nutsu village.
