TT, Carom tourney held at Mopungchuket

Mokokchung | January 6 : The 31st District Table Tennis and Carom Tournament organized by Molutobia Sports Association, Mopungchuket was held on January 4th and 5th at the village’s Primary School Sector B premises. Sixty players participated in the table tennis championships while 28 carom players participated in the board game tourney.
The tournament was sponsored by the telecom company Aircel, and the prizes were given away to the winners of the tournament by Territorial Manager of Aircel, K.Savino. The president of MSA, Temjenkoba Jamir, expressed gratitude to Aircel who sponsored the cash awards to the winners in all the categories as well as for financing the tournament. He also thanked all the participants who came from various parts of Mokokchung district to compete in the tournament.
