TTC Infra India to resume widening of NH-2 in Wokha dist

WOKHA, FEBRUARY 16 (MExN): With the Lotha civil society organization calling off its indefinite bandh, Construction Company TTC Infra India has conveyed that it would resume its work on the widening of National Highway-2 (Km 72.4 to Km 83.00) under Wokha district from existing single / intermediate lane to 2 lane road. 

In a letter addressed to the Chief Engineer PWD (NH) Division, the company highlighted that the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha has also “assured to provide conducive and safe working atmosphere for the construction workers and also committed to extend all necessary support to take security measures to ensure safe working environment.”

Taking into consideration the various communications deliberations and assurances for providing the obstruction free site with security and safety, the company informed that it shall be re-mobilizing its work force to complete the balance work as per the TCS and scope of work stipulated in the contract.

It however worded caution that, “any prevention, let or hindrances in the commencement or during the execution of work will compel us to terminate the contract as our last resort, without any further notice.”

“Therefore, without prejudice to our rights and remedies for claiming compensation as per the terms of contract, with the presumption of full support and cooperation for in execution and completion of balance work without any hindrance from any quarter at the site, the work will be resumed at the earliest possible,” the letter read.
