TTFM to transform land of festivals to missionaries

Kohima, February 29 (MExN): A pilot mission project called ‘Team Tea For Mission’ (TTFM) was launched today by CBCC Executive Secretary, Rev Khrotso Mero at Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK).
The project is under the initiative of the International Mission Committee (IMC), an undertaking of the Chakhesang Mission Society (CMS) of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC), a press release from Media & Publicity Committee, CBCMHK stated.
The TTFM aims at fulfilling the dreams of sending “10,000 missionaries to the land of those who are in need of gospel, transforming land of festivals to land missionaries,” it said.
IMC Chairman, Kudecho Khamo in his introduction said that TTFM is a business project initiated for the mission endeavours, while adding that it sought to fulfil “every believer’s calling to be the salt and light of this world and thereby allowing the redemptive power of the gospel to influence every part of the society, including the business environment.”
The release said that TTFM is solely managed and monitored by the IMC.
Launching the project, Executive Secretary CBCC, Rev Khrotso urged the Mission team members to utilize the project for the best interest of the people and for the glorification of God’s kingdom. Stating that mission initiatives require good team work, Rev Khrotso urged the entire members of the Christian society to jointly venture out “focusing Jesus as the target of the project.”
He further encouraged the members to move out from one’s comfort zone with the willingness to reach out to the unreached through mission oriented journey.
Rev Khrotso also urged the members present “to prepare themselves to face any kind of eventualities for the glorification of God’s Kingdom.”
Earlier, the launching ceremony was led by CMS Chairman, Rev Dr Kedungulo Mero, opening prayer by CBCMHK Sr Pastor, Rev Dr Vevo Phesao, while closing prayer was pronounced by the CBCK Sr Pastor Rev Dr Kevekhalo Lasuh.
