TENNING, SEPTEMBER 9 (MExN): The Tening Town Women Welfare Organisation (TTWWO) has appealed to the Nagaland State Government for the immediate posting of an Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) in Tening. A press note from the TTWWO informed that the ADC’s office in Tenning has been functioning without the official since the Assembly Election conducted in February 2018. “It’s been six months now without any officer being posted and the patience of the public is running out. People of Tening area have already faced unbearable inconveniences due to the absence of ADC. Students are the worst affected since ST certificate, indigenous certificate and backward tribe certificate could not be obtained through the office due to absence of the officer,” it informed. It further stated that implementation of various government schemes has also been affected badly in the absence of the administrator.
