Tuensang Anglers Association launched

The Tuensang Anglers Association held a launching program commemorating the celebration of World Fish Migration Day on May 28 at Tremzong Farm at Tsadang Village in Tuensang. 

Around 50 members along with Tuensang Anglers Association officials and members attended the programme.

Thungchanbemo Tungoe, ADC, Tuensang was the special guest accompanied by Mhomo Murry, District Fishery Officer, Tuensang and Nokmei Konyak, SDO (C),  Chare Town as the special invitee. 

The programme was chaired by Y Hongkin Chang while the welcome note was delivered by the newly nominated President of Tuensang Anglers Association. He introduced the office bearers and members to the gathering, and also handed angling rods and hats to the special guest on behalf of the association.

The association thanked God for the success of the launching of its association and assured cooperation with the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and people for the benefit of the nature.

Special invitee Mhomo Murry, DFO Tuensang in his address praised the association for coming together not only for the benefit of enthusiasts but also for the welfare of aquatic animals and conservation.

Special guest Thungchanbemo Tungoe, ADC Tuensang in his speech applauded the association members for coming together and starting a new journey. He assured them full support. 

Yangdipi Sangtam, Vice President of the association concluded the program with vote of thanks on behalf of the association officials and members. After the launching program, the ADC led the angling demonstration along with the members of the association.
