DIMAPUR, JUNE 14 (MExN): Focusing on India's G20 presidency in continuation of the Jan Bhagidari programme, the District Employment Officer and ITI (Industrial Training Institute), Tuensang has been holding a series of events since June 1 onwards with culmination date on June 15.
A press release issued by District Employment Officer, T Yimlikhumzuk informed that a career counseling and registration/awareness of job-seekers was organized on June 7 and 14 at ITI.
The DEO, Tuensang spoke on the importance of career guidance, choosing the right career path according to one's interests, aptitude and developing skills as per the job available in the job market. He also held a session stressing on the preparedness for various interviews the ITI trainees will face in their job hunt.
All together 58 trainees attended the career counseling session. ITI vice principal, Er Netanba welcomed the gathering. While acknowledging the visiting team, Netanba also stated that such a programme should be a regular activity in the institute.
