Tuensang, September 17 (MExN): Leipzig Stars FC, 40 AR and Oziepik FC won their respective matches here at the ongoing 2nd edition of Tuensang District Football Association Cup 2018 on September 17 at parade ground Tuensang. In the first match, the Leipzig Stars FC defeated Adonis FC 2- 0 through the help of Changsang and Dolim (7) in the 47th and 56th minutes respectively.
In the second match, LH Puja scored a goal for 40 Assam Rifles 24th minute against Homers FC ending the game 1-0, to register win.
The third match between Spartan FC and Awom FC ended in a stalemate with both the teams scoring 1-1.
The fourth match, Oziepik FC beat Foothill United FC 3-0. The goals were scored by Pusing, Pule and Thuming L. Chai in the 12th, 36th and 55th minutes respectively.
The champion of the TDFA Cup will receive a cash prize of Rs 60,000 sponsored by Niholu Ayemi, Dimapur while runners up will take home a sum of Rs 30,000 being sponsored by Senyungshe Construction Tuensang. The Golden Boot will receive a cash of Rs 5,000 sponsored by Ronsen Kumzuk DFO, Tuensang. The Golden Ball, Golden Glove and Best Discipline Team are being sponsored by sponsored by Zuchamo Ezung HASP Office, Tuensang, Solomon Sangtam, Inspector, ARCS Tuensang and Verukuo Zumu, DYRO Tuensang. The cash prizes are Rs 5000 each, it was informed in a release from the organizers.
