Tuensang, January 14 (MExN): District Planning & Development Board Meeting was held at DC Office’s Conference Hall Tuensang on January 14. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB Tuensang, L. Jamithung Lotha, was attended by almost all the esteemed members of the forum.
It was stated in a DIPR report that the meeting started with the review of the previously adopted agendas and its follow up updates. SDO (C) Longkhim, Shelly Katiry enlightened the forum members regarding the project Low Cost Multipurpose Indoor Stadium at Longkhim HQ which will be constructed with the initiatives of the concern citizens of Longkhim Town on free will contribution. He also requested the members to contribute through ‘raffle draw’ so that the project could be materialized.
ADC Tuensang, M. Chaitanya Prasad, IAS also encouraged all the members to work together as team and carry the district forward through development.
Work distribution for the upcoming Republic Day was also planned and work responsibilities were distributed on Departmental lines.
The monthly PPT display of work activities was initiated by the Department of Food and Civil Supplies, where the Additional Director of the Department reported the Departmental activities with proper statistics.
