Tuensang, April 20 (MExN): The Tuensang District Task Force for COVID-19 had a meeting with a team of Post COVID from the center at DC's Conference Hall Tuensang on April 20.
The meeting was chaired by Kumar Ramnikant, DC & Chairman DTF Tuensang, and the visiting team from the centre comprised of Dr H K Das (ICMR), Dr. Laihlimpuü (WHO), Rekha Raj (UNICEF), and Dr Egum Nsarangbe (JSI) with Dr. Mero (WHO) and Nokching (UNICEF) as supporting staff, stated a DIPR report.
The report about field activities they conducted from April 18 to 20 uncovered District Immunization Office Tuensang, District Hospital Tuensang, PHC Srinagesh, CHC Shamator, Health, and Wellness Centre Sangphur, and Catchment community of the above-mentioned facilities were reported.
They have summarized the good practices observed during the COVID Pandemic period and the vaccination drive, where key challenges were also identified viz logistics and operation, demands side issues and scopes of further improvements were addressed in the meeting.
The members also discussed the achieved operations fighting the COVID pandemic and also on the factors hindering the vaccination processes. The members discussed the importance of the COWIN app and the strategies to penetrate those sections of people who are yet to get vaccinated.
Stakeholders like CMO, MS DH, Eleutheros Christian Society (ECS), CBLT, COC-I, and Church leaders also reported on the activities they have conducted during the times of the COVID Pandemic and on the vaccination drives.
