Tuensang DPDB deliberates shortage of manpower in district hospital

Tuensang, October 8 (DIPR): District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) of Tuensang held its meeting on October 6 at DC’s conference hall with Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman, DPDB Tuensang, Alem Jongshi as the chairperson.  

The meeting reviewed the report submitted by Chief Medical Officer and the Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Tuensang regarding the shortage of manpower and decided to forward the same to the Government for speedy action.  

The complaint over irregularity of electricity and the surprise enhancement of electric billing tariff in the district lodged by the All Ward Union Tuensang Town were also discussed. The board decided to write to the department concerned for necessary explanation and clarifications. On the renovation of the only Badminton Stadium in the district, the board decided to appeal to the State Sports’ Association and authority concerned to look into the deplorable condition of the stadium.  

The renewal of registration of Shekinah Christian Foundation Longtokhu Village, a registered society, was also discussed and the meeting decided to forward the same for renewal.
