Tuensang, October 8 (MExN): The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) of Tuensang held its monthly meeting with ADC Tuensang Thungchanbemo Tungoe, presiding over the meeting as Chairman. The gathering took place at the DC conference hall, Tuensang on October 7, a DIPR report stated.

The Board discussed the agenda concerning the creation of police outposts at various locations, including Sangsangnyu EAC, New Chingmei EAC, and Ngongchung EAC. The members of the Board examined this proposal and decided to forward it to the relevant department for further necessary review. The outcome will be presented at the next planning meeting.

The topic of issuing patta (land title) for Government land to private parties was also addressed during the meeting. The Chairman emphasised that Heads of Offices (HoOs) should refrain from issuing NOC (No Objection Certificate) for construction on Government properties and quarters.
The DLSRO of Tuensang provided additional insights into the matter, highlighting that nearly 50% of Government properties are yet to be surveyed by the department. He urged the concerned departments that have not yet submitted their surveys to do so promptly.
