Tuensang DPDB meeting held

Tuensang, May 24 (DIPR): District Planning and Development Board meeting was held at DC Conference hall Tuensang on May 24 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and the vice Chairman DBDB Tuensang, Alem Jongshi.

  The meeting reviewed the previously passed agenda and its further developments; it also included the second phase discussion of the agendas basing on the reports submitted by the concern departments of the district.  

DC Tuensang administered the green pledge organized by the forestry department. The members also discussed on the observation of the World Environment Day on June 4 and the Chairman directed the District Officers and the ward President to come forward for the same.  

The agenda on establishment of the 10+2 in Sangsangnyu was discussed and forwarded to the Department concerned to review on the feasibility report before forwarding for the approval.  

The proposal for the nomination of the Governors awards for the year 2016 on the distinction in arts was discussed in forum and the tribal hoho and the departments are entrusted for the identification of the same for submission.  

On the establishment of the SP&DB Pungro the house decided to write to the chairman SPDB Noklak for further necessary procedures. The proposal for the renewal of the societies viz, Eleutheros Christian society and the Hills Integrated Development Agency were agreed upon to forward to the concern authority. The meeting was attended by almost all designated members of the house.
