Tuensang, April 1 (MExN): The Tuensang Forest Division organised a farewell-cum-felicitation programme for outgoing Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Samom Khelen Singh, IFS, at its office on March 30.
The programme was chaired by T Sejongmong Sangtam, LDA, while the invocation was delivered by S Makamchang, Forester-I.
Short speeches were delivered by Nayang (LDA), Menya Wongto, Forest Range Officer, Tuensang range, Imtimar Walling, FMU Head, Noklak range, Pongsoimlong, DMU-II, Sicholasangtam, FCO M KFW, and Haanglen, Supervisor, FNGO (LCS), Longkhim range. The speakers expressed gratitude and highlighted the developments and achievements under Singh’s leadership in the Tuensang Forest Division.
FMU Heads of Tuensang and Noklak ranges also conveyed their appreciation for his guidance and support during his tenure, while congratulating him on his promotion and wishing him success in future endeavours.
In his address, Singh expressed appreciation to the staff of the department and encouraged them to continue working with the same enthusiasm. He said he had gained valuable experience during his tenure as DFO and thanked all present at the programme.
The programme concluded with a benediction delivered by H Chopise Sangtam, G/man, Tuensang Forest Division.
