Tuensang inter-dept sports meet begins

TUENSANG, NOVEMBER 25 (MExN): The 3rd inter-departmental sports meet kick started at the indoor badminton stadium on November 25. Vishal Chauhan, Superintendent of Police, Tuensang was the special guest of the occasion. The events of the sports meet are table tennis, badminton, carom, with a total of 40 departments participating in the events. The special guest appreciated the organizers for successfully organizing such an event. 

“Sport is one arena in which we forget the pressure, difficulties and negative feelings, and unite. Let’s enjoy this adventure and get to know and make friends outside the department. Let us all participate in the events marking the beginning of the festive season in high spirit,” he said. The welcome address was pronounced by Organizing Committee Member, Er Akhangjongshi. The programme was chaired by Moasenla while the oath taking was overseen by the chief referee. Sentilo Seb, Pastor, Tenyimi Church Tuensang invoked God’s blessings.
