Tuensang STF discusses to reduce quarantine centres

Tuensang, June 23 (MExN): Tuensang District Task Force for COVID 19 held meeting at DC Conference Hall Tuensang on June 23. The meeting was chaired by DC and Chairman DTF Tuensang Kumar Ramnikant. The members discussed to reduce the quarantine centres as per the intakes and number of inmates in the facilities by July and August this year. 


“This is a prospective exercise to vacate the academic infrastructures now using as QCs in the district,” stated a DIPR report. 


CMO Tuensang Dr Moa Jamir updated the members in connection to Truenat machine of Tuensang and its functions. As of June 22, evening total number of 579 samples has been tested out of which 433 results have being received and 146 results await. 


Dr John also highlighted that total of 385 people are there in QCs in Tuensang where 60 of them in JNV Chare, 40 in Abigail Hostel Longkhim,108 in Sao Chang College and 113 in ITI QC and the remaining in CBLT office and Sedem polytechnic.
