The 5th Triennial Session of the Tuensang Village Students’ Union (TVSU) concluded on Thursday with a valedictory programme held at Sejung Ground, Tuensang Village.
The programme opened with a prayer led by Bhumching of Tuensang Sang Baptist Lashong (TSBL), while short speeches were delivered by Pongsu, President of the Chang Wedoshi Setshang, and Takum Chang, Member of NEPED and Deputy Project Director of the KfW Project. Meritorious awards were also presented during the programme.
A nominating report was placed before the house, followed by short addresses delivered on behalf of the outgoing and incoming teams. The valedictory message and blessings were delivered by Rev Dr Wongto Chingmak, Pastor of Chang Baptist Church, Dimapur.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Y Akhong, Vice President of TVSU, and the benediction by I Chollen of TSBL.
During the valedictory session, a new team of office bearers of the Tuensang Village Students’ Union for the 2026–2028 tenure was nominated.
The newly nominated office bearers included K Yongkhong Choba as President; Isakyentinongbou as Vice President; N Naongsenti as General Secretary; Akhong as Assistant General Secretary; Shangtiyongkhong as Education and Statistical Secretary; T Changsangsipong as Assistant Education and Statistical Secretary; Changlemla as Women Coordinator; and Chenyangsenti as Assistant Women Coordinator.

Other office bearers included K Thongmongyembo as Editor; Y Among as Social and Cultural Secretary; C Chongshen as Finance Secretary; N Naongchemden as Assistant Finance Secretary; I Siponglemla as Banker; Elemmongko as Librarian; Chuba A Chang as Press and Publicity Secretary; M Bupen Aolen as Sports Secretary; K Thondichemden as Property Secretary; K Mongsensangla as Assistant Property Secretary; and S Makam as General Key Holder.
The executive body comprised Y Akhong as Executive Chairman and M Kaimang as Executive Secretary. The nominated executive members are N Imtisikum, Thongmongyembo, Er Nabum Tombou, K Menya Wongto, and Kemangcholen.
The valedictory programme marked the formal conclusion of the triennial session, with the outgoing leadership handing over responsibilities to the newly nominated team for the forthcoming tenure.
