Mokokchung, July 14 (MExN): The Mokokchung Police on Tuesday informed that two persons were arrested following receipt of complaints at Mokokchung Women Police Station, about “a crime against women.”
A press release issued by the Mokokchung Superintendent of Police stated that “Mokokchung Police immediately started investigating the identity of the culprit and on June 18, arrested one suspect from Tuensang district.”
While no details on the alleged crime were mentioned, the SP said that another suspect was arrested from Kiphire district on July 9.
In this connection, a case has been registered under Women Police Station, Mokokchung, the release stated.
