Two ICIT lecturers receive anonymous threat letter

KOHIMA, JULY 14 (MExN): Two lecturers of the ICIT Mokokchung, Khrieketoulie Rupreo and Neisekho Chaya, reportedly received an anonymous threat letter on June 12.  

The letter which was delivered to the press by Viswema Kewhira Kebako Krotho and Chiecha Ramia Dzevi Kro-u, without name or signature but affixed ‘from some one who are known by every one’, began with appreciation for the qualification of the two lecturers and their capability as teaching staff in technical education, but expressed doubt, stating that the duo were overruling the whole institute more than the principal.

“Being a qualified and sociable lecture, you are distinguishing among the lecture. Other than that, you are mostly distinguishing among the students whether he or she is Angami’s, Ao’s, Rengma’s, Sumi’s and so on so forth. Lastly, if you are not touched with these information’s, your career will be end and you’ll be no one”, said the letter, and concluded with “Living in the middle of the sahara desert with scarcity of water”. 

Meanwhile, Viswema Kewhira Kebako Krotho and Chiecha Ramia Dzevi Kro-u today said that they have submitted a joint ultimatum to the government on June 12 last to solve the issue within 15 days, however, the concerned authority has failed to do so till date, it said. The two Unions, in a release issued by its presidents Puzashe Leho and Thekelie Keditsu, warned that Imsayuba Naga, Project Director, SPIU, Longmetong Walling, former Principal, ICIT, Mokokchung and Alipokla Jamir, Examination Superintendent.
