Our Correspondent Kiphire | May 2 In a tragic accident, two person were killed and another two injured after the truck they were travelling rolled down the road at Akhegwo area, some 25 kilometers away from Meluri subdivision under Phek district. The accident occurred around 6pm in the evening. The two deceased, including the handyman of the truck have been identified as one Mukuzo and another Tejuthe. The handyman was killed on the spot while the other succumbed to injuries after he was admitted at the Akhegwo dispensary. Sources said the truck was on its way from Kiphire to Kohima when the accident occurred. The vehicle, a line-truck, reportedly rolled 300 meters down the road. Of the two injured, the driver is reportedly out of danger while the other injured is said to be in a critical condition. The cause of the accident could not be ascertained till the filing of this report.
