Dimapur, May 5 (MExN): Launching programme of two lane road construction between Changtongya and Longleng was held on May 5 at Yongnyah Junction (Police Check Post). The two lane road project taken up under SARDP will be executed by GAYATRI Project Limited.
A press release relieved here informed that the start off programme was attended by the Phom People Council, Phom Students Conference, APGO, Phomla Hoichem, a host of officers and public leaders. Short speeches were delivered by the president of PPC, president of Phom Students Conference, H. Leisha, Advisor LTC, Lonphe Phom, former Dy. Chairman LTC. The Chairman of Orangkong Village Council, Yaongyimchen Village Council and Yachem Village Council also spoke at the launching programme and endorsed full support and co-operation.
M. Shayung Phom, ADC, Longleng, spoke on behalf of the Administration and called upon the people to give and extend full co-operation. The road project was highlighted by S. Deb, Dy. GM, Project Manager and Project Administrator GAYATRI Project Limited. The programme was concluded with a word of gratitude by A. Pongshi Phom, Class 1 Contractor and the dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Y. Nuklo Phom, Executive Secretary, Phom Baptist Christian Association. The programme was chaired by Y. B. Angam Phom, Member, Secretary Advisory Board, LTC.
