Dimapur, January 4: Dimapur police on January 2 arrested one identified as Tivito Chishi (21) of Phisamei village under Kiphire district and presently a resident of Thilixu village, Dimapur for attacking and robbing two persons on the morning of January 2 near Nagarjan junction. According to a press release, the victims were on their way home when they were forcibly waylaid by two miscreants and robbed of their belongings consisting of one Apple Iphone, one Samsung Wave mobile and cash amounting to Rs 7000/-.On receiving information, East PS personnel investigating the case spotted the accused at a Lounge near Nagarjan junction and took him into custody. Police are on the hunt for the other accomplice who is absconding and evading arrest. A case has been registered at East PS in this connection.
